Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

on this pic yes a small bungee. I keep a heavy rubberband or two around the cage bosses most of the time and use them the same way. you can see that in some of the other pics.

I've pegged the Via Narone 7 as my next road bike. Without doubt. I hope to participate in this thread as soon as I can locate a celeste one in 55.

Hi,

I thought that I'd already posted my Bianchis on another thread like this but after trying the search function to find it, I couldn't. So here they are:

Restored 1975 Bianchi Specialissima with 1984 Super Record gruppo. I am the original owner of this bike.

2005 Bianchi Milano -- 150th Anniversary Edition. This is actually a somewhat old photo of this bike. It is in a slightly different configuration right now.

2006 Bianchi Pista Concept. It is a track bike, not a fixie.

2007 Bianchi D2 Crono Carbon. Also a few changes to this bike since it's last photo session.

2007 Bianchi Roger. I have set up this bike as a rain bike though I have be riding it this summer on recovery rides.

BTW, with the exception of the Specialissima, I have raced or ridden each of these bike within the past three weeks.

My humble yet servicable road equipment.

It is not worthy to be exposed in this magnificent company. My apologies in advance.

I can only say that this device makes me very happy.
