At one of the horse ranch parties I went to BITD I wandered into a barn where a bunch of jockeys were hangin' out drinkin' JD and RMOT: (weird feeling when you're 5'8" on a good day)

I’m going
Yes BFC.
This is the first time I’ve done it, but I’m sure he will be fine. I’m running 40s
Black Fly?
One of our customers is riding it on a Specialized Roubaix that has a 35mm Panaracer Gravel King SK stuffed into the rear triangle -- a millimeter-ish clearance. He tried to put the same up front too, but it was scraping paint off the top of the fork. I was able to talk him into running a 32mm. I look forward to the aftermath.

At least one bear spotted in the county just north of the city. Possibly two.

Up before the sun, so I made a proper pre-ride breakfast. Hope it digests pretty over 45 mins of getting dressed and driving to the start.

My left knee has gotten puffy to the point where I can't fully straighten my leg out like the other one does. It might be impacting the way I walk and put weight on my legs.
I think I need to contact the dreaded witch doctor.

Oh, he can handle the bike. I'm waiting to see if he has a chainstay left, after grinding trail debris through the 1/2 millimeter gap all day.

Been thinking more about this, and while I doubt it is the original cause of the problem, it could be a contributing factor.

Oooh, found a live stream that's not onboard-only. I'm not sure what language yet. Weird Italians? Portuguese? Basque?

The skies have opened up. One of the presenters says "Eeeeeee" when a car gets sideways, it's pretty funny.

Definitely Portuguese
Unfortunately that stream got shut down apparently.
On a British stream now...
Nothing is more interesting than a 24 hour race presented in Portuguese.
Some of the Portuguese presenters seemed excited about a Peugeot leading the race, as am I. They have the most badass headlamps so they deserve to win

We have a Eufy. It doesn’t map the room but the algorithm works well enough that the whole floor gets fairly clean. It’s mrs datlas’ favorite appliance. By far.
