Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Sadly nothing to report. Yesterday there was gusting winds. No thanks.

Felt low energy today. Sleep deficit, end-of-drug cycle, etc.

I mowed some small lawns. Traffic on I-75 N was backed up to Lenior City exit. People fleeing the "Great State of Georgia"?

Oh and he knows the course of the Mallorca 312, through he hasn't ridden it. He calls it quite the tough course. Asked if datlas likes climbing.
Edit: Dallas, Darla's, darla's. AI finally succumbed

This is why mass cycling/NASCAR/etc. are dumb. Completely random that people get taken out of the race.

Bob is incorrect about there being no used bicycles for sale.

Sunshine and singletrack on a sunny Saturday was spectacular…

Someone hung a swing from a tree next to the trail…

Not walking for two months+ really takes the stamina out of your legs.

I've been trying to NOT buy a red gravel bike here, but if someone else doesn't buy it soon I dunno how long I can hold out.

They'd better get a bigger boat if they want to collect enough beer to last through another Montana winter!

Let go of your prejudice about the color red, and embrace the spirit of gravel. We drink beer (or not, if that’s your choice), and welcome folks who ride all the bikes (or just 1 bike, if that’s your choice).

I'll bet I've seen that clip at least 30x. Saw it live as it happened, too.
