Miyata 610 year made?
Looks to be a 1985 made, but still has different components.
Cr-Mo triple butted frame and Mangalight fork.
Custom bars and stem.
Suntour ARx derailleurs with Power shifter.
Sugino GP triple crank set.
Shimano brakes with Dia-compe levers.
Weinmann 219 rims with Viscount front hub and Sunshine rear hub.
Is it a 1985 with replaced components?

I don't know how you do it but you do track down incredibly clean vintage bikes. Kudos.

My 610 had those brakes, frame details and maybe those derailleurs. Bought it used 1990 not knowing its history. Immediately took off everything but BB, HS, brakes and seatpost. First ride, brakes came off and the Mafacs from my Mooney went on. Why? you might ask. Those brakes - really good! Good enough for a really nice bike, just not flashy. 32 years later, they are still right for the #1.
My 610 derailleurs might have been the same as yours. Don't recall. I bagged them with the other parts and took bag and wheels back to the shop for $25 since I bought the bike to be my fix gear commuter. I've since used a bunch of SunTour AR and ARX derailleurs. Pretty ordinary, but like most ordinary SunTour derailleurs, do the job of shifting extremely well for ridiculously many years and are a simple joy to work with.
I ended my 610's career with a hard, wheelbase shorting (by 6-8") crash after 27k miles of service. Excellent frame. Enjoy yours!
Edit: I set those brakes up with the pad posts inserted to close to all the way, the brake arms now running a little higher. I use a slghtly longer straddle cable also.

Yes, the frame matches 1985 perfectly. The components in '84 were Shimano, then Suntour in '85 and back to Shimano in '86. Maybe a result of availability?
In any event, great bike from a great manufacturer. The original weight estimate was about 26 and a half pounds or so. Not bad for what it is. Hopefully there's clearance for some beefier tires. Would make a nice short tour bike.
Congrats.

Edit: brakes ran just fine with the 700c wheels. Pads did sit a little cocked but wore down fast to flush with the rim. The Mafacs that spent years on the bike had exactly the geometry of your Shimanos so your experience should be similar. The Shimanos ARE easier to work on!

A quick and dirty method for dating the 84/5/6 year Miyata’s is just looking at the seat tube decals. This works for both the touring and the semi-pro series.
