1988 Schwinn Cimarron: What frame sizes were offered?
I'm going to go look at a Schwinn Cimarron that is from somewhere between 1987 and 1989 (based on the Sunrise Red color). I'm really excited and worried about whether I'll fit on the frame or not.
Does anyone know what frame sizes this bike was offered in? So far I've seen references on the internet to a 23" frame, but haven't seen any other sizes.
Thanks in advance
Edit: Here's the bike in question:
The headtube looks shorter than those of the 23" frames I found photos of. I'm not sure if this might be a smaller size or if they just changed the geometry somewhere within those release years. Here is one that I believe to be a 23" size:

The 1989 catalog lists Cimarron frame sizes available as 17", 18", 19", 20", 21", and 22", measured center of crank to top of seat tube. 1989 colors were Sunrise Red and Jet Black. Approximate weight is listed as 29 pounds

Well, I went and looked at it. Unfortunately it's about 2 sizes too small for me, appears to be a 19". It was also in pretty neglected condition.
However, for $20 I couldn't pass up that old lugged cro-mo (or possibly True Temper) frame. I figure maybe one of my kids can use it, or maybe I'll try to ride it anyway (and possibly look like some sort of circus act).

I'd love to find a large sized Cimarron... Then again, I'm not riding my Stumpjumper enough either. They'd probably feel neglected.

I love the Cimarrons... I think it's the 87 one, with the small yellow graphics- Fillet Brazed in the Front, Lugged in the Back. Badass all the way around.

Hi,
Live in Philly. Saw that on CL in H-burg. If your willing, I have a 22 inch lugged Trek 930 frame I could trade your for the Cimmaron. I would be willing to throw in cash or additional part to make it an even deal. The Trek frame is 2 sizes too big for me. Let me know. Thanks.
