Anthony’s endless dribble

I have fallowed Anthony for years but this last year he has changed to none stop talking . If he pauses he has the girl rider with her none stop trivia . They have bored me to death with there none stop trivia. To day he said to bad they don’t make disk brakes for bikes. Where has he been. She missed it and went on as if he was correct wih comments about some obscure fact from some old race.
Some may love it but it is like a review every twenty minutes. Just my thoughts on how boring it is getting wih there non stop talking.

He's half of the Peacock network announcing team that works the grand tours.
They probably told him to talk more. I think they could use some more contacts with the teams, they seem to rely on social media.

They're the low rent team laboring in obscurity with no media support. You get what you pay for.

I have not been listening to him and his new colleague this year, so I don't follow the specifics of what you're referring to now. In listening to Ant McCrossan in years past, my thoughts always waffled between "my, he's monotone" and "for a guy alone with a mic having to talk for 3, 4, 5, 6 hours, he does a pretty fine job."

All the announcers on the former NBC Sports Gold Cycling Pass are a little hard to listen to. I think they are essentially doing a one sometimes two person show and they have to do everything themselves. The NBC feed with commercials has more money to fork out for help in the studio to watch and control the sound and video feeds as well as read tweets from the audience during real time racing.

I get a little monotone when I'm distracted by other stuff.

They are just watching it on TV like we are, I doubt many of us could last 15 minutes at the job.

I believe he was talking about Citroen making disk brakes for bikes but I wasn’t bored enough to go back and check.

Looks like many have read my thread. No one has said they liked the dribble so it must be many agree with me.
The word Dribble is correct for this application as the Macmillian Dictionary says about DRIBBLE "To Talk Continuously and to Much"
That is what my thread is about.
Every time we make a comment about a bike we are a Critic
Are we not all on here bike riders or fans of vintage bikes maybe just like bikes of all types.
It does no good to tear each other down. If it makes you feel superior how sad for you.

I happen to like the conversation with the two on Peacock. Beats the NBC coverage.

Just my opinion. But then again this is the first year I've been able to watch Le Tour and La Vuelta at all. Used to settle for NBC's weekend coverage and recaps.

I like Anthony much better then Bob Roll and Christian on the NBC channel, but then I also hate commercials.

Liking Anthony... very tough job... makes a boring race a little better... finds interesting stuff to talk about when the race is droning along...
quick to identify riders...
think he's not so good - go watch some bass fishun tournament announcers ... "Dat zas fine a fish as you ever wanna see..." LOL!
did a v-good job at the worlds... the juniors penchant for tilting their brifters inward - affectation or actually something worthwhile ???
Ride On

Sad I missed this ... But in life none stop dribbling if you want to retire it seems ...

He really works well partnered with a former pro, this year's Tour was great with him and Simon(??) - Simon even previewing a few of the finishes, it was good.

No I don't have a fan club ... swear ... But I would love to see Anthony teemed up with van velde and roll, I think it would smooth things out considerably.
