Mine came with Suntour XC Sport 3 X 6 friction shift. I swapped those out for 1986 XC Sport 3 X 6 Accushift. The saddle and seatpost are not original but the stem, bars, brakes and wheels are. It has a Suntour roller cam brake on the back.

Yeah, and it's super cool. The more I see stuff from Black Mountain Cycles, the more I think about making room for one.

Thanks! I recommend them with 100% enthusiasm. If you choose to buy one, you will also be supporting a one man operation with quality product and service.

Finally got this one built up. It is ready for a shake down ride and final fit adjustments. Mostly Campy Nuovo Record with Suntour Suprbe brake levers and calipers. 1977 Trek TX900.

Here’s my 1977 66cm fillet brazed Schwinn Superior “Hot Rod” with Huret retrofriction shifters, TA cranks, etc. Heavy, but it rides GREAT!
