Shimano rear derailleur pulleys are paper thin... replacement thoughts?

So... as so many bicycle repair adventures tend to go, I'm like three or four issues deep into a simple chain replacement, and I notice that the pulleys of the Shimano (it's actually a Schwinn Approved Shimano) derailleur are paper thin at the edges of the teeth, especially the guide pulley. They appear original, so, they've given some 40+ years of good service, but, I've never replaced Shimano pulleys before. Other than matching the tooth count (10, in this case), having the inside & outside diameters at the pulley rotation axis match the original, is there anything else I need concern myself with? Anyone have any secondary market ones, within price reasons, that they have experience with and recommend? Thanks for the responses, in advance.

These worked for me as Campy, suntour, and Shimano.

I like Tacx pulleys, though they're more expensive.
