Yeah, no. See, posting nonsense like this undermines your whole argument. Also, the reason given for 29ers when they came out was that large wheels rolled over obstacles more easily.

Suntour has released a number of forks for 26ers that are guaranteed to keep the front wheel down.

Seriously? Joking with a random cite? I'm not going into it further.

What is “random” about the National Academy of Science, Engineering, and Medicine? And what is “random” about a cite showing them using CoF in ways you are claiming are inappropriate?

Random selection by you, in that it doesn't help to illustrate your eccentric notion of the coefficient of friction.

Correct. But what I find interesting is people will pick and choose what they want to believe. Some time back Jan Heine also wrote a detailed scientific analysis of carbon fiber going soft as it ages, I can't find the article anymore, but Jan got slammed around for that one because no one wants to accept that possibility because CF bikes are all the rage. The closest I can get to that article is just a summary, but anyways read especially the last paragraph: https://www.renehersecycles.com/frames-going-soft/ So I think people psychologically pick what they want to believe.
