The mighty Pirates don't need any hits to win the game. It's the 6th time in MLB history a team was no hit but won.

The last time I saw my best man before he passed was at the Ronald Reagan Hospital at UCLA. Just another coincidence that occurred.
Ronnie was our governor before he hit the big time. I was never a fan.

We used to do a ride up to the Reagan Library, it's about 30 miles from home. I never got on Air Force One, though. It's up there along with some other cool stuff.

I spent a bit of time last night, measuring and re-measuring my 5 "modern" bikes (i.e. the ones with STIs/Ergos). Now that I have an Avocet saddle on the Litespeed, I can more easily compare it, because the other 4 have the same saddle. I used a small board, maybe 5" by 10", placed on top of the saddle to standardize the measurements. I started by putting that on the Ritchey and marking the intersection of a line starting at BB center and going along the seat tube. By placing the board in the same place on each saddle, I could now measure saddle height at the same point on all the saddles.
And it turned out that the Litespeed's saddle was about 1cm LOWER than all the others. Also about 1cm farther back. This may explain the mild gluteus medius irritation I felt on Friday - too low and too far back would close down the hip joint. So, 1cm up and 1 cm forward, and it was WAY better. 55 mile ride today with no pain! Just goes to show you, there's a big difference between a fit that "seems okay" and one that's RIGHT.

I lived a couple blocks away from Squeaky Fromme as well. I very much enjoyed my time there.
I began my road cycling career while there also.

I rode two days in a row. 14 miles yesterday and 15 today. I've been doing 14 miles three times a week for the last few, and am steadily and slowly getting back into some semblance of conditioning.

Funny thing is, years after he left office, he went through a fairly normal political career - Mayor, then Attorney General, the Governor.

So from the large ring. Shift down to the small ring, without turning the cranks. That will slack off the cable. Reach underneath it and set it into its groove. Hold tension on the cable with your fingers. Turn the crank so the chain can complete the shift. Enjoy.

anyway you can take a picture of how you did this? I know my three bikes are not the same, but I’m also not experiencing pain.

Bam. Here's what I do. I have a couple of stands that hold the bike up with both wheels on the floor. I put both rear wheels close to a wall and make both bikes the same distance fromm the bottom bracket to the wall. Then I compare the numbers from the bike I'm comfortable on to the other bike, and adjust from there. Similarly I use the floor as the other datum. You might have to shim one bike up to match the bottom bracket height to the other. I use the bottom bracket as a starting reference point because you can't change its location. But you can move every other human/bike interface point in relation to it.

Western Carolina University? Kudos.
What kind of plant is that? I never got a plant upon graduating.

I am skeptical this works as advertised. Too simple to be true.
