Just think, in only 30 years you'll be eligible to post on the 80 plus bicycle forum on Facebook.
Of course, by then, I'll be posting on the 110 Plus forum.

Hang around, keep riding, in a few more years you'll realize it's no big deal.

Yeah, it's all downhill from here... Unlike cycling where downhill is usually a good thing for most of us, this kind of downhill isn't. So embrace the up hill rides. Doing a lot of them will help keep the other things from going downhill. <grin>

When my father was in his mid-70s, he confided, "I felt old when you turned 50 (he was 71, my current age, at that time), but I really felt old when your brother turned 50 (2-1/2 years later)."

Reasons I like being old:
- grandchildren.
- wisdom of the Ages.
- eligible for seniors meals at Dennys and IHOP.
- there is no chore that can’t be avoided by claiming the worst back pain ever.
- I look great in khaki shorts and knee-high white socks.
- you don’t sweat the negativity of all the long term projections.
- you don’t even fear getting nuked. I’ve had a good run.
