90 miles on a broken axle,

good thing i did not get a flat as when i got home and pulled the rear wheel, the axle halves fell on the ground with a few bearings,

no wonder the bike was upshifting on the climbs,

if you feel a little slop in your bearings or wonder why your bike is shifting by itself, or the wheel sits funny in the the dropouts, you might want to check your axle.

now where to find a suntour axle in a 126, yeah, good luck to you too.

Isn’t a better question: How fur did you ride today?

0 today, 0 yesterday (on 1st vacation in a year) and 47 the day before that, and it felt wonderful.

it's not how long you ride, it's as long as you ride.

17 yesterday and 23 today. Both days cold, damp, cloudy and windy. Had to sneak all the rides this last week in between episodes of rain. Glad to have the new clip on fenders on the old Schwinn!

Friday was a little windy, I ended up going 37 miles. Today was downright ugly. I only went 18 miles and felt like I had ridden a century. Thankfully I rode into the wind, so the second half was a lot easier. I'm way behind last year's mileage at this point.

Do you think you will remember how to ride on pavement without being propped up? <ight be dangerous.

So far I haven't made the experience a recumbent.
