NR (also called Niagen)
I make my own pills. Pot pills, supplement pills.
Anyway, I really like Niagen. But I recently saw a video where the guy was reading from a new research paper that the 300mg dose cause problems, potentially including cancer.
Large dose supplementation never works.
What I do is buy the stuff I think is good, and then open the capsules, pour them in a bowl, and mix it up. I then put the blend into new capsules. I was using the 100mg capsule of Niagen, but in the pills I made today, the dose is roughly 25mg. That should be small enough that it won't cause me grief (less than 10% of the 300 dose used in the research). At the same time, it's enough that I should get some small benefit from it.
So if you have been using NR, you might want to look into the situation.

The cancer thing was in a Youtube video, I couldn't find it, will keep looking. It had to do with high doses, 300mg, and how that over time might weaken your defenses against cancer.
I'm still taking it, but like I said, about 25mg.

Could just eliminate the CAPSULE and sprinkle on food or mix in liquid. Save the stuffing work and $$$ for capsules.
