Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Yeah yeah I know, black parts and silver stuff doesn't mix. I don't care I'll take the performance gains over appearance.

Why on earth do you have a 175 drive side crank arm and a 165mm NDS crank arm?

who needs gears?

tore apart my rear dp18 and rebuilt it myself with a used 7spd road freehub. then i took my cassette apart and found a halflink magic ratio.

after the ride in the rain i got the phone call i had been hoping for... i start a new job on monday and i'm silly excited about it. my plan is to work like hell and then once i'm comfortable and have gotten up to speed, start putting some money away for sram 10speed for next cross season. for now, this bike is AWESOME. fenders and knobby 35's are the way to go.
