Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Should've gotten that 1977 300d and converted it to run off of fryer oil while you had the chance.

Surprisingly that did not work. This morning I went to an urgent care clinic. Doctor shot me with a local anesthetic and dug it out in about 30 seconds. But the it's sure making it hard to type and make sure I meet my Friday deadline on these projects.

I just wanted to make sure everyone else could enjoy the mental image of jamming a splinter under their fingernail. I wouldn't want to be selfish and keep that all to myself.

My 15 mile ride felt much longer. Stiff head, and cross winds. I had about 2 km of tailwind, where I reached 25mph.

probably due to intermingling of metric and proper. You rode about 24 km sound better?

Long lines at some gas stations this morning.

I filled up on Sunday so I'm not worrying about it.

I'm also within bicycle commuting range to the shop
