My wife outbikes me - HELP!

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

My wife outbikes me - HELP!

No, she doesn't drop me on hills or beat me to the town sign. It's worse than that. She owns more bikes than me!

Bike #1 for me was May 2019. #1 for her June 2019. #2 for her was March 2020. Then I evened the score with bike #2 on Friday after waiting two months for it to arrive. So what did she have to do? She (and I) drove 100 miles to Greenville, SC and she bought bike #3 on Saturday, her first road bike.

Two questions: Is she decent looking and intellectually stimulating? and is this an open marriage?

How are you married? You can't be older than 10.

You are so fortunate to have a spouse that understands and participates in the same recreational passions as you.

I think you counted wrong.

The solution to this issue can be resolved by applying the "n+1" formula. I recommend you proceed with this process as quickly as possible.

Don't focus on the fact that she has more bikes than you, focus on the fact that you have someone who understands why you want more bikes/bike stuff.

My wife and I currently have an equal number of bikes, but at points, she has had more than me.

My wife is trying to equal the score. She is selling my bikes to friends. I got this weird call the other day, hey, your wife told me you were thinking about selling a bike....uh......which bike? Ummmm, well...., uhhh.....how tall are you? Sure come by the house and we can see if it fits you.

Should be obvious, sell your wife but keep her bikes.

Hell, if I had a wife that understood "N+1" I'd brag about her!
