I don’t know what’s happening to me. Hit the road this morning about 7:30 when it was just a bit over 80, and was done by 15 miles. Of course, the route had virtually no shade. Kit was absolutely soaked. Tried planting some new landscape plants, and only made it thru 5. Gardening kit - soaked. Granted it’s in the mid-90s with about 70% humidity, but I don’t recall being slowed like this in quite a while.
Please don't tell me I’m old. I’m only just a little old.

Mowed one of the lawns.
So much rain this week has the lawns at varying stages of height. It is very hot especially since I'm at a poor fitness level and my meds make me less tolerant of heat.
Going to order a suped up one of these in mesh with battery power and crabon blades. That should keep me cool and with crabon it will be very pro.

Today I rode the Schwinn with one side of the top of the bar wrapped one way, and the other the other. Pretty tricky to pedal and remember which way to wring your hands at the same time, then throw in DT shifting... surprised I made it back home without making the call of shame

Indeed!
That brings to mind:
Why does Aplet only have one p?
What the hell is a Cotlet? (I've wondered this since 1993 or so, but not enough to find out apparently)

There's a chance Buffalo, WY might get a new record high soon. Luckily it looks like Rock Springs will stay out of the triple digits.

First, I arrived home from my century on Wed and my wife informs me that the kitchen sink (a hands-free, motion detection jobber) isn't doing anything. I eventually get that problem fixed, but during the troubleshooting process, I had to turn the water off and on at the valves under the sink, and one of the valves decides that it's too old and has had enough of this crap, and it develops a slow leak. I address that next day, replacing both valves - done and done!
Nope - the day after that, I notice a drip in the basement. I check all of the connections under the sink, and they're all nice and dry. Go back to the basement to locate the drip - it's coming from the shut-off valve just under the kitchen, which I had to use to shut off the lines when I replaced the valves in the sink cabinet that failed when I was troubleshooting the faucet.
I just picked up the replacement valve for the basement, but if a leak develops at the water main valve, which is the next and only valve up the line from the one I'm now replacing, I'm going to be very not happy.

Who is they? The only reason I can think of is so the family can help with straight cathing at home (sometimes it’s necessary and the patient may need help). Otherwise no point imo.

Try Comice pears, when they're almost all yellow, and with no bruises. Bring them home and wait a day or two. Also, the best apples and pears are ripe later in the summer.
