Alas, I only have "before" shots of these.

1991 Univega Via Activa, looks gray in the photo but it's metallic silver. Looks like a sleepy hybrid with middling Suntour components, but it's got cool ovalized top / down tubes. I've since installed a nicer saddle, flat handlebar and better pedals.

1985 Ross Mt. Hood. Cockpit ticks all the boxes for me (bull moose, thumbies, moto-style levers). Removed the heavy rack, swapped in a better saddle, installed a more period-correct rear mech. Oh, and ditched the Kryptonite lock bracket and kickstand. Kept the dork disc.

(Let's see how long 'til someone sees a detail about one of these bikes and posts a BF-C&V-cliche reply....)

I've got one of each. A silver 1983 Diamond Back Ridge Runner, and a chrome 1985 Mongoose ATB. I haven't gotten around to fully cleaning up the Ridge Runner yet though.

I know I've posted this in years past but it's such a beautiful bike I can't resist. It gets more attention than any bike I own.

My 85 Cannondale - in the raw aluminum. It looks more silver than in this photo, where the light is being colored by something, not sure what... But anyway, its red paint was trashed and I always wanted to strip it down. Glad I did, the better to see the work they did back then, like in this rear triangle.

Here's a new acquisition that is posted elsewhere but of course I'm putting it here too.

And lots more gory details here.

I acquired this one on Tuesday. I have to get it cleaned up and the consumables replaced. After that, hammer time!

Nothing fancy but it is all chrome. 60 cm frame. I stuffed 700 x 32 gravel tires on it and cleaned a lot of rust off the bottom bracket, changed the original gold rims for silver and put on clear pedals. Even used silver cable covers. Hopefully we will find a tall buyer for it who wants a little style
