Mrs datlas is an oil painter and we typically hang her canvases without any fancy frames. But she is putting a couple of her works in a show for sale so of course she wants me to help mount the paintings in the frames. She bought frames that are deep and put the canvas inside with some folded paper as shims. She told me to screw the canvas stretcher into the frame from behind, but of course as the screw touched the canvas frame it pushed the painting out rather than enter the wood. I tried to drill holes into the frames but even the drill bit pushed the canvas frame out of place. After a few iterations we finally got the job done.
While I lost my patience, I told her “You should have married a carpenter!” to which she responded “I should have married a MUTE!”
Not PC but a good comeback I must say.

I did think of @datlas this morning when I saw a white Saturn L300 with temp tags. Not quite one of the original Saturns, but before it was just another GM.

My doggie boy is feeling much better now. Just hanging out with his tiger.
