A painting in honor of Merckx and Sercu
I've been doing pop art portraits for about 20 years, and I've been wanting to do this one for a long time. I was hoping to complete it before his stage record was officially broken. Cheers to the greatest rider ever, and rest in peace Patrick Sercu.

Merckx and Sercu periodically did Madison races in Germany as a team. I won't call them "6's" as they were not the 6 day continuous races of old.

Great stuff. I like the Johnny Rotten the best, but I am biased.

I have a website joeymaas.com. I don't have anything listed as available because when you show in galleries, they don't like that. But I haven't had any art shows in the past year for obvious reasons and I need to rebuild it to sell current pieces. That's going to be my next project. I can send you photos of what's available if you're interested.
