I'm living this right now. 2 months ago, we adopted a 14-month-old female German Shepherd. She's beautiful, smart...and a pain in the ass.

I have a neighbor with a Doberman who won’t go outside without a coat on even if it’s 90° out. He is also is in love with me and whines and whines if he sees me until I have to pet him which sometimes involves at least 5 minutes of constant petting. He’s the biggest baby that I’ve ever seen.

I rarely do naps. Don’t know why, never have. I do usually get 8.5 - 9 hours of sleep each night so maybe that’s why.

I don’t know if anyone here has seen the Competitive Cyclist sale on Wahoo equipment, but I snagged a Kickr Power at 10% off with free 2 day shipping.

We've seen first hand how it just takes a second of inattention for a small kid to fall in. We've pulled two very young kids out of ours when their parents weren't paying attention. Fortunately we were paying attention.
