Hi
Greetings from Cape Town.
I wanted a recumbent but have not found anybody in South Africa who sells them.
So ....I have been trolling forums like this one for some time and made liberal use of information provided through the generosity of forum members and have made my own recumbent (or at least the prototype )
Now in some little way it is time to give back and hopefully make a small contribution to a wonderful public pool of knowledge
I can only rely on theory for a finite period after which my head gets too full of possible variables and hurts ...so in the end I have resorted to making my bike and then literally chopping and changing the frame and steering geometry with riding tests in between to measure the changes
I have now ridden 400 km and the bike is almost what I think it should be.
