Sunset, Queen Wilhelmina State Park, Arkansas

Ontario back road

Baker's Tank, Breckenridge, Colorado

Most frightening ride of my entire life. The holes in the road were large enough to fall through on a bicycle. Lexington, Missouri

I did a little 250k tour through a couple of valleys here in Norway this Tuesday. Total climb was 3088 meter. I started at Rødberg, then biked through Uvdal. Up and down Iming Mountain. Biked alongside Lake Tinn, then headed towards Kongsberg and followed Numedal valley to Rødberg.

About halfway up Iming mountain. Unfortunately I have a bad camera on my cheap smartphone so the spatiality is just gone. In reality it's an impressive view.

Finally reached the top. Had a cup of coffee on the plateau. The cool and fresh, absolutely non-smelly air, is absolutely wonderful. Could sit there for hours if I wasn't getting cold.

Nice flat roads with a tail wind. 30k/h average speed.

I'm gonna fall off the edge! Aaaaaaaaa!.....

Going alongside Tinn lake.

The train ferry at Mæl station.

Steam tractor. An old rig vs. new rig. The engines of both are pretty smelly you might say.

Flesberg in Numedal. Just in case you want to work.

I struggled with a head wind up Numedal so I got exhausted and forgot to take more pictures. I arrived at my car as a wreck that Wednesday evening.

If you look at the cars, you can see that even they crowd the center line

yup, that is really off the scale of scary. Makes me think of a few places in Costa Rica I rode on narrow, windy roads, with buses and lots of traffic and steep dropoffs right there with really no wiggle room.
I ride in city traffic all the time and don't get fazed unless the real danger factor is like your bridge example.

Yup I stayed only in hiker biker sites coming down 101, and in a couple of warm showers places in LA and south. I had the campsite at the golden gate bridge all to myself too.

I have a journal at

crazyguyonabike.com: Author Info: Tori Collins

I'm yet to finish it right the way to the end though

I wore through the paint from rubbing against it with my wrist when changing gear
