I can't seem to find any buttons. There used to be buttons for everything. When I was 15, I had one that said Frodo Lives.

What I would like is one that says Vaxxed, but I can't find any that say anything.

Anybody got an idea?

Maybe tattoo a scarlet V in my forehead?

I got a real CDC vaccination card. You could laminate yours and pin it to your chest. However, if there is ever a requirement for proof of vaccination to enter a business etc. I expect to see a bunch of counterfeits come out.

Idea for a button considering new CDC guidance:

HUG ME!

don't worry about it, they will know. they have detectors that pick the frequencies emitted from the microchips in the vaccine.

or maybe wear a tinfoil hat with a covid shaped whirligig on it?

Apparently in Israel they have a badge... My wife was suggesting an armband... I asked, "what, with a little star?"
Israel unveiled a plan on Saturday to allow people who have been vaccinated against the coronavirus to attend cultural events, fly abroad and go to health clubs and restaurants.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced the plan at a news conference on Saturday night, saying those who have been vaccinated will be able to download the “green badge” in the coming days.

Israel unveiled its plan to allow the vaccinated to attend cultural events, fly abroad and patronize restaurants and health clubs by using a “green badge” app on Saturday ahead of the reopening of the economy. The rollout of the app has been fraught with technical difficulties.

I still have my yellow passport shot card... I wonder if I can add COVID vaccine to that too.

It would look stupid to put "I have been vaccinated for Covid-19" on your forehead, so I encoded it into a QR code and put that on my forehead instead.

Does vaccination make it impossible for you to transmit the virus, or just make it less likely for you to catch it? Is there any Typhoid Mary situation possible?

I think vaccination reduces the chances of transmitting the virus, but doesn't eliminate the possibility.

That would be like a bullseye for the determined anti-vaxxer plague rats in my area. They're so easily triggered they'd be waving crucifixes at me hollering "Begone, spawn of Satan!"

It's the right tool for the job.

They are studying the possibility of the vaccinated being contagious, as we speak, but frankly, it's nothing to worry about. They won't find anything.

Neither. Just got my first Pfizer shot yesterday, and wondered these same things. The vaccine will make it less likely that you experience the severe symptoms and/or die from it. You can still catch, and transmit it to those that haven't been vaccinated, so continue to wear your mask in public. But apparently the CDC now allows unmasked gatherings of only fully-vaccinated people. Now I just need to find a "fully-vaccinated only" group ride, movie theater, and pub.

Amazon has some, I got these, I like the one that says 'Hug me I'm vaccinated'. I'd have preferred one that said Vaxxed, but what can you do.

Vaccines are one of the most successful public health interventions in human history. Unfortunately there are those too skeptical of science that they donít/canít understand or are looking to just confirm a fear instead of looking for the truth about vaccines and the evolved science and benefits behind them. Thankfully my work allowed me to already be fully vaccinated but I donít need a sticker to acknowledge that experience. I, however, do see the importance in helping others understand the positive benefits for all of us in getting the covid vaccine and the possible need for vaccine boosters for protection against emerging covid variants.

I got my first Pfizer shot this past Monday at the drive thru, no stickers. Not sure why I'd want to advertise it.

Partly to encourage others, mostly just to share my enthusiasm. I'm going to be 70 soon, and I have issues. So surviving another mortal threat is cause for celebration.

Ideas like this would be easier to accept if they didn't involve completely trusting the industry that brought us the opioid epidemic in their relentless pursuit of profits.
