The best route forward?
Hello,
I am totally new to spinning and I like to get some advice from you experinced bikers.
I recently bought a Body Bike Connect and a Garmin Heart Rate Monitor (strap). As I understand it theses devices works with ANT+, but when I try to connect my Samsung Tab s5e (that supports ANT+) no connection is established. However, when I install Zwift everything connects.
The thing is, I am not particularly interested in an app like Zwift or something similar, I just want to log the data, to capture it, to see my own progress.
As I understand it I can do one of the following:
1. Buy a Body Bike Performance Console and then export to Strava (or something similar)
2. Go for a subscription of Zwift or something and then export to Strava
3. Try to connect with a Garmin Fenix 5 or 6 and export to Strava.
I wouldn't mind getting the raw data into a spreadsheet in a smart way.
Maybe someone can help me?
Regards,
Euklides

Welcome to the forum
There have to be some android ant+ logging programs. If zwift can see it, any app can see it.
I pay for ride with gps, which would work. I don't know about trainingpeaks, people don't talk about that much as far as collecting data.
It looks like Golden Cheetah might work on android and should be able to log data.
You might want to look at this article about trainer apps https://www.dcrainmaker.com/tag/golden-cheetah/feed
