Painfully average.
Today I cut the steer tube and installed a star nut on the Mr P at the co op.
Though I noobed it up and trimmed my FD cable and forgot I didn't have any more cable ends. So I left it over night and it frayed on me.

Meh. My bikes never get cable ends unless the LBS is doing the job.

Painfully average.
Do they end up fraying? There were a few times where I didn't put a cable tip (just too lazy) and they didn't fray. Seemed perfectly fine.
The cable on the FD got frayed really badly, though. Probably due to the ****ty cut from the Pedros cutters.

oddly enough i find that if i cut them really fast they dont fray, but if i sit there dicking around not squeezing the cutters hard enough it gets all mangled

You can melt some solder on the end if you have the materials... sorted. Course if you don't have ends, probably you don't have a soldering iron kickin around.

The thing I hate most about road rash, is depending on how deep it goes the spot sticks to band aids (or in my case bed sheets) if you've been in the same spot for a while. Hurts like hell to peel whatever sticks off.

Most of the wounds are on my back/side, so there wasn't hair to begin with. I guess I kinda got lucky with that.
