Raleigh script font?
Raleigh changed their logos several times over the years. Specifically I'm looking for the script font used around 1973 for the model name, such as Super Course MkII, Competition, and International:
Any clues?

From a graphic-designer friend:

Once upon a time, the world made things for each needed application."

You might start with
Aramis
And modify that.
As stated, often these fonts are custom headline fonts, sometimes not even a complete font is produced. Or letters are added when the needed use arises.

I doubt you are going to find a font that comes anywhere close. That was an era when people made things with pens on drafting tables.

I hear all of you. The old Schwinn font, with elengated S, is damn near a font called air conditioner.
I'm sure most everyone has seen this logo:
I downloaded a font editor, tugged on the ends of the S, and viola:
I've got a couple of vintage Raleighs that used that script, and would like to create some spoof decals such as this:
I know I can just purchase some decals, cut and splice...but why not just create what you want, print, and viola?
