Like so many here, I'm usually behind the camera taking the pics. I don't have much of me with my bikes. Hmmm, must correct that matter one day.

First two are from '87 in all my 80's glory. LOL!
That was my 1st real bike that I built in H.S. 7 years earlier. It had gone through one upgrade; ie. Campy wheels, new crankset, Cinelli bars. I still have the bike today.
Third pic is from '91 of my VFR750F. Motorcycles took me away from bicycles for a while. Seems a lot of us here are also avid motorcyclists.
Fourth pic was taken in Montreal Canada on their Thanksgiving weekend, 2007.
I took my stepson on a ride around the F1 circuit which is open to the public. Then over to Old Montreal. Pretty impressive ride for a 12 y.o. on a Supercycle gas pipe MTB. I was riding an old Bianchi Nyala that I pieced together.
Lastly, this is the most recent 'bike related' pic taken this Spring. After my stepson successfully stripped and repainted his MTB. He appears to have our affliction for bikes.

That's great that you got to do laps of the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve - Gilles was my one and only 'hero' in life, the best racing driver I ever saw. He won the inaugural Montreal race in 1978 on that very track and was killed in 1982 (two months before I graduated high school). I'd like to go there someday.

I only have one of me on my significantly-shorter friend's bike (and normally I wear a helmet):

Here's one of me from about six years ago, finishing Boston's Hub on Wheels ride. I'm on my '49 Raleigh Clubman:

And, more recently, last summer while riding in New York State, after taking the ferry across from VT. I'm on my unknown-maker French bike. After the beard got too grey, it got shaved:

khatfull, you owe us a bigger picture of yourself.

I'm really enjoying this thread. nlerner is exactly as I picture him. Sixty Fiver looks even more humble than I pictured him, and I don't even know what I mean by that, but I mean it in the very nicest way.

I don't know where any recent pictures of me with a bike are, though I know there are many. Here's a very old one. My riding partner shot this while on his bike. Not bad. The fuzziness is because I scanned this old, abused print, not his fault. I think the year is about 1982, and I was 21 years old.

Note the Huret Multito odometer on my front hub.

My butt has grown since this picture, much of my hair has fallen out, and my nose has surely gotten larger.

As with others, I'm usually the dude behind the camera, but I'll have to go take a tripod to a nice spot and take a pic, perhaps later today...

Otherwise, me relaxing on a beach in Febuary last year:

Gack! Y'er a youngster. I hit 34 in '82. I'll post a pic as soon as I get my Better Half to take one of me standing in front of the requisite white garage door.

Me at my bike is a tall order (because I am usually behind the lens.) Here is the shadow of me on my bike (and its front wheel) going about 30:

that's the closest picture I have around (without digging) on a bike.

My avatar is me, so is this (over at Bethlehem Steel for a photoshoot on a down pouring day a couple of years ago before the place turned into a Casino; excuse the 8mm lens) :

The bike has a really high bottom bracket and saddle was dialled in just right for my 33 inch legs... did not raise the stem as I knew I would have smaller test riders and the design is such that you need a socket and extension to loosen the pinch bolt as it is secured from below.

It makes the stem seamless... this picture shows the stem better and this is another model of the (Arvon) Cygnet replica.

This one is a little truer to the original (and my favourite) as it is a fixed gear with faux wood wheels and laced skirt guard... they are designed to be practical bicycles and not just eye candy and are a wonderful ride.

Sounds good. If we have a big group, I'd say that we should do the lakefront again. Impossible to get lost, and kind to riders of varying speeds and distances. If it's a smaller group (and we all want a similar speed/distance) we could do the North Shore (Barrettscv knows some good routes). We could do lunch at Moody's again (can bring your bikes into the enclosed patio ), or even throw something on the grill in my back yard. Let's start a separate thread....

Ask for a pinch I'll give you a pound!
Here is a shot of the whole crew.. left to right:
My son Eddie the Navy officer, Tabbie my darling Granddaughter and her mom Jessie(my daughter) then my best friend and wife of 27+ years Debbie. That's my OU gymnast son David next and my fat butt in the front... Rounding out the bunch is Blue the Aussie, Lacey the taco dog and Mr. Zuess the Jack Russell AKA Terrierist #1
Probably more info than you want but where I go do they .... it's a family thing

Jeez now looking at that pic I better start doing more riding and less wrenching
But first hand me that beer would ya?

Soonerbills - what a nice family portrait!

I revise my request - whatever pictures float your boat, please feel free! I mean, it's a bike forum, but we all have other bits and pieces that make up our lives, right? Right!

Great photos by all - I am really glad so many familiar names now have faces to go with them. Thanks!
