Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Saddles are sooooo subjective. See if you can try it out before you commit to it. Seriously.

I like the cheapie Forte SLX saddle which PB has for much less $$. But that's just my butt.

Well, it looks like a serious ass-hatchet. Though it might be the best thing since sliced bread. Never know til you try.

One like that, yes. A different bran & model with a similar design. Having used older style saddles too, I like the newer designs like that; they have a flattish profile so my sit bones sir square upon it, not straddled. Older designs relied on cushioning, even the racy ones. Your type relys on some degree of flex in the platform itself.
It also has the relief. Bear in mind that styles change so prices on all but the newest offerings in high priced saddles come down, ussually.
It'll take some getting used to but where else can one start ? a $30 one ?
The price is good. That particular design though is what I've tried and like. I had a 180 wt. saddle and hated it. I use an old 240 wt & others. My new one is best which weighs more than yours I suppose, still's light and has suf. compliance.

I'll add, the Forte's are highly regarded. I've read it here many times and in other reviews.

I like it's looks....Tomorrow will be my first ride on it....I'm not used to these no padding saddles and I'm looking for something I can ride 4 - 5 hrs on....I doubt this will be a keeper.

If you found a saddle made out of woven thorn branches, and it was comfortable, it's worth it.
