NEW wheels! Record hubs/Wolber Alpine rims
Up for sale is a newly built pair of 700C wheels: Campagnolo 36 hole record hubs laced to new Wolber Super Champion Alpine dark anodized rims with new Sapim stainless DB spokes and new plated brass nipples. Hubs were polished on the bench buffer prior to lacing.
These are hella strong, classic-looking bombproof wheels that would look good and perform nicely at L'Eroica or on any vintage 70's-80's build.
$285 shipped in the continental USA.

Wow, those are pretty - prolly the best pair of wheels I've seen on here in awhile. Tubular or clincher?
I'm not in the market, but asking for those that may be
GLWS.

Wolber Super Champion Alpine are clincher rims, and very nice ones with double eyelets.
Judging from the size of the spacer on the drive side of the hub, it is most likely 126mm spacing.

Not puzzling or inconsistent at all. OCD sticker placement is more of a modern thing.

BTW, have three more newly built wheelsets for sale, pics later. All use Sapim stainless DB spokes and plated brass nipples & new rims:
1) Dura Ace 7200, 36 hole NOS hubs laced to silver Mavic 192's, with skewers and 13-26 UG cassette including special Shimano lightweight 26 cog, comes with spare 23 cog
2) Dura Ace 7700, 28 hole hubs laced to silver Mavic SUP double eyeletted rims, no skewers
3) Shimano 6700, 32 hole hubs laced to silver Mavic Open Elite rims, with Ultegra skewers
Price on all three is the same $285 per pair, shipped. I'll start a new thread for these.
