Experience with OMNI Racer BBs?

In the market for a new square taper JIS BB .. anyone hear good/bad with the OMNI Racer ones that are all over ebay? Example: OMNI Racer - eBay
They're pretty cheap so I'm guessing, well, they're pretty cheap and best avoided - thoughts?

i have seen all the OmniRacer parts on eBay as well. I bought a carbon fiber FD braze-on adapter that is OmniRacer and it is nice.
These parts are Taiwanese and not priced so low as to suggest something fishy is going on.
I would think one of their bottom brackets would be pretty nice.

A few years back I bought one for a Campy 10 speed crank. I don’t recall the exact problem but I wasn’t happy with it and I emailed the company. They told me to take it to a bike shop to have it professionally installed. I tossed it in the spare parts bin and got a real one. A couple years later I come across it and give the spindle a spin finding it gritty and gravelly feeling. I think I rode it once.

If I want a JIS taper I go with Shimano, IRD, or Sugino.

Edit: just saw the price on that - yikes! I’d go with the top end IRD for that money. It will last a long, long time

I'm sure it's no worse than a Sunlite or run-of-the-mill OE.

I bought and installed an OMNI Racer 68x102mm Bottom Bracket (Campy Chorus/Record copy) in 2014 on my wife's Serotta and have experienced no problems.
I found the workmanship and smoothness of the bearings to be outstanding. Still very smooth. Cost $40.

I've bought two. One of them was, and still is totally smooth, and one was gritty out of the box. The smooth one ended up on a groupset that I sold, and the gritty one has about 3000 miles on it, and I just retired it about a week ago. It still feels like the day I installed it, which was, well...gritty.
