Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

We're hoping we over prepared for our first hurricane. If we get wind, it will be within the next two hours. We are getting LOTS of rain. I guess that's par for the course. I was out doing last minute tarping and moving of things to sheltered places in my skivvies and Wellies. And a ball cap. Sorry, no pics. All the tarping took place under roof, where walls are not complete and windows don't close.
Hasta luego

You should replace cables quarterly.

Maybe he'd do less unnecessary shifting if it took more effort?

Yeah but then you're stuck with them, unless you want to get clever with some cable stop adapters.

That looks like a Le Tour Luxe. Neat bikes, and I've seen a few for sale locally but I've passed every time because of that shifter restriction.

Wondering if this in part due to all the hills and climbing you do.

I've wrecked two this year also, looks I also should be on the quarterly plan.

Perhaps, I should start a poll as to whether I shift too much.

Correction. He could put one of these sweet band clamp aero shifter sets on, just mount it above his existing shifter bosses
