Help identify old components

My dad scored some old components off a friend of his. The large item is Campagnolo.

We need help in working out what these are. Does anyone know?

The top item is a brake calliper washer to aid the calliper's flat clamping area to tighten onto a round brake bridge. The second item is part of the Campagnolo Portacatena chain derailing system. It 'parks' the chain off the sprocket block allowing the rear wheel to be extracted from the frame without the chain getting in the way. It bolts to a specially drilled Campy RH rear dropout (1978 vintage).

Thanks Gary. I thought I'd seen the second item before but could not for the life of me recall what it was. Mystery solved.

I think they had a bike in Ride magazine a few months back with one, required special gear levers with a button to click the chain onto the chain hanger.

Yes - you're exactly right re the bike in 'RIDE" magazine.
