For me, not quite.

Swim: survive.
Bike: OK, hammer, give up, recover, hammer, give up, sprint to end.

Carbon Ironman

Hey guys and gals. I’m looking at a 52 cm Carbon Ironman and was wondering what they go for? This one is in 7 out of 10 shape cosmetically. It’s been Frankensteined on components. I thought they came in Dura Ace. I have a Dura Ace 7400 group. Thoughts?

The Carbon Ironman came with tricolor 600 components.
I'd say the FMV would be 250-400 depending on condition.
I paid 400 for mine in very good condition.
That isn't a 52cm. Looks more like a 56cm.

Good morning Bike Forums!
Please help me with the sizing on the bike in the ad below?

https://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/...256733896.html

The seller has it listed as a 53 cm, but it looks more like a 58 cm to me (hopefully).
I am a thinking about pursuing it but its a 4+ hour round trip so I don't want to go if its too small.
Thanks

I think 56cm. Def not 53, as they came in 2cm increments starting with 48 up to, I think, 64. Don (referring to the ad that claimed 53cm)

Thanks.
Yeah could be 56, which would probably also be okay for me. I emailed the seller and am waiting for a call back.

If this was The Price is Right, I'd go a strategic 54.

Well its a 58... The seller updated the ad.

The weird thing is I emailed the seller this morning and told them I think it might actually be a 58, and I sent a link to a short YouTube video they can use to figure it out.
They must have measured and updated the ad based on what I told them.
But they haven't responded to my inquiry about the bike! I thought my email was nice and I left my phone number.
Or maybe someone else told them too.

Oh well, I really don't need it!

Liar. I don't see an IM in your inventory. However, the price is a bit high for a long drive and IMO, the least desirable of IM fades.

100%
I want one, but that one, at that price isn’t worth chasing too hard.

It will come to you.
I mean, not like clicking your heels together to get back to Kansas, but they're out there.
They are like pretty girls. Not all that rare, great to find, and worth the wait.

That's a long trip.
Nice bike, decent price.
Based on the pictures, the seller drinks, so it may be worth the drive to tell him those 6 $20's are $50's.

Today I'm scheduled for a long ride. However, this

Got this today

What could it be?

Took 10 minutes to get to this point...even with help from a bowie knife.

Took another 10 min to get here. It's a Centurion Comp TA! Courtesy of Robbie Tunes.
