So I went to a 160mm with the qm12 adapter. Can you tell me of it all looks right? Brakes work great but there a honking sound now

Not sure what you mean by honking sound. What you need to do is shine a flashlight from the top and off the sides, have a peer at the pads and see how they hit the rotor. If you don't see any overhang, you're in the right place.
Next, make sure that the edge of the rotor isn't rubbing onto the underside of the caliper. If so, you got the adapter bolts (the ones facing us in the last picture) to play with.

I think I found the issue...it was just BARELY touching right here...
