Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

It was freezing. The castelli alpha 2 Ros jacket is absolutely amazing.

The rest of my gear worked as advertised, my little soldier started to get cold around mile 14. I’ll have to figure out a solution for that. Rest of me stayed warm.

Kudos. My goals are more ambitious: beer and donuts.

Awesome single-syllable.

I missed by 3 degrees, but we might do it tonight. If not, definitely Tuesday and Wednesday.

A few years back, we had out driveway redone. They had to cut the concrete at the front of the garage, since the garage floor and the driveway had all been poured at the same time back in 1946. That mean they needed to have the garage door open while then cut. Mrs. GeneJockey and I carefully put up plastic sheeting to prevent the dust getting in the finished garage.

It didn't help. Everything was covered in concrete dust.

Two of my favorite somewhat sleeper films from several years ago:

The Drop. Gandolfini’s last film. Also stars Tom Hardy and Naomi Rapace. Crime drama/thriller. Not overly violent, and a cute puppy.

The Way, Way Back: Sam Rockwell, Allison Janney, Toni Collette, Amanda Peet and Steve Carrel, among others. Feel good film. Great closing credits tune.

Don’t know if either are available, but I would search.

BTW…I am with you on the Marvel thing.

Hulu has Behind Enemy Lines.

Meets all of your qualifications. Plus it has Owen Wilson. Who doesn’t like Owen Wilson.

It seeps everywhere, much like osmosis. It defies gravity, it will travel upstairs and settle on clothes in your closed bedroom closet. It's the beast.

Fake miles done. It was advertised as a social group ride. I still got dropped.
