Notes to self:
1) Acquire time machine
2) Go to 1966 buy 100 Fender Stratocasters @ 275 ea in assorted colors
3) Go to 1971 buy 100 16lb Bob Jackson road bikes @ 440 ea
4) Return to 2010, sell guitars and bikes, but retain 3 Strats 2 Jacksons for personal use
5) Go to 1946, buy the NC Outer Banks, stay fit avoid fried foods, enjoy extended early retirement

Look, the tandem has all French components except for the rear derailleur. I guess they admit that the Simplex can't handle the job on a tandem.
