62cm Viner Special Professional Track frameset SOLD
For sale is my vintage Italian track frameset. It is a Viner Special Professional Track from the 80's. Frame and fork are made of Columbus SL tubing. It has a black sealed bearing Nashbar 1" threaded headset and an Ofmega/Campagnolo Italian threaded bottom Bracket (114mm spindle width). The seat tube is 62cm and the top tube is 59cm both measurements center to center.
The frameset has the normal wear and tear from being a used and previously raced track frame. The paint has seen better days (aka: a normal shoddy Italian paint job) and the decals have been faded over the years as well. The fork is the original. Neither the frame nor the fork are drilled for a brake. The frame includes the Italian threaded bottom bracket and headset. It takes a standard 1" quill stem (22.2mm quill insertion size) and a 27.0mm seat post. Frame and fork are normal track spacing of 100 and 120mm.
This was one of my own bikes I have previously ridden on the Bloomer Velodrome a number of times, but I don't get out there enough to justify keeping it anymore. The short wheelbase and steep geometry make it a great handing track bike on the banks.

Perfect frame to defixiate. Toss on some cable guides/stops, derailleur hanger and respace it! Lol. GLWS!
