Giant Riders Unite! Show off your Giant!

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Probably made out of recycled beer cans which makes it even better . Today riding the whoops, carving and trimming trees on a 2010 Rapid-1. Second wheel set with a different rear cluster, chainstay sleeve and 700x 34C knobbies squeezed in.

I hope this is not blasphemy on this thread, but can I post an old steel frame single speed Giant Kronos?

I agree, some very nice bikes (including a steel single speed) but I'd still like to see more!

Very Nice. I happened upon another rider on this same bike at a stoplight this week. Except it had cage pedals and the driver was wearing tennis shoes. Go figure. To each his own though....

Thanks, it is a blast to ride. I just did the Seagull Century in MD. on it and had a great time. Actually could have been geared higher than it is (48-17).

My 2012 TCR Comp 1 that I bought earlier this year. No mods, just new tires. 3200 km later and still loving it.

Update: Did a charity ride of 65 miles today. The bike really responds quite well, fast in headwind, very very comfortable and had lots of compliment and questions about the brakes mounted behind the frame. Most fun bike I've owned.

new member of the family, via Craigslist: 2006 Giant OCR C3
I think it's mostly stock, except for my SMP Pro saddle, and M505 pedals (which is fine because I wear MTB shoes).
Also, the front DR is Ultegra, but Bikepedia says it should be 105, like the other running gear.

Anyway, it's my first carbon. The back end is cushy, but there is some tingle in the bars. It's a good climber (I'm a pretty casual rider, not very strong)--I couldn't get it into the low ring, but climbed some hills much easier than with other bikes in lower gearing.

All in all, it's a happy ride for me.

Thanks and congrats.

They're Bontrager RL cages. They come in both gloss and matte finish if I remember correctly.

A few days late, but I'm jumping in. 2012 Giant Defy 1. Mavic Ksyrium Elites, Sram Rival brakes, Selle Italia SLR Superflow saddle, Garmin 510, Planet X stem, Time Xpresso 4 pedals, Fizik Dual Microtex bar tape and Giant bottle cages. (I think only the wheelset is pictured below)

Hopefully a TCR is in the cards next year.
