Addiction 2023.2

Notices
Road Cycling ďIt is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.Ē -- Ernest Hemingway

Got someone coming today to finalize design on a pool for our yard. Iíve been hemming and hawing about doing it since August, but just got a bonus that will cover the cost, so in true Clark Griswold style Iím going for it.

Iím not super keen on having my lawn destroyed, but figure itíll be back by the fall and theyíll start the build in June- giving plenty of time to use.

Is the Civic type R a Supercar? I certainly cannot find a new one anywhere near MSRP.

And yes, I am aware the Saturn is only a Supercar in my mind.

Considering the way it's treated you and given you a long life of service, I'd say it's been a super car.

One of 281 hand made cars, 16 original miles. Yeah, it's probably affordable. I'm sure insurance is cheap, too.

Most recent sale- $1.1million.

If you didn't scratch it up by throwing bikes inside, it may retain all of that value.

High of 62 where we are riding today. Supposed to go up about 30 degrees by Saturday. I really hope it's not an early summer.

The shop that takes care of the SportWagen had their first Cars and Coffee event of the year. Many sports cars in attendance, super and otherwise.

So when the Saturn dies, if I cannot get a Honda Civic Type R, should I consider a Corolla GR or just accept a Civic Si??

Yes. I bought a red NSX in 1992. It was a lot of fun to drive.

After 5 years, I replaced it with an M3. Which soon became my wife's every day car, that she let me drive occasionally.

The Integra type S looks good but at MSRP north of 50K, that's gonna break the bank.

The Civic Si is 30K which is still way more than we have ever paid for a car, but feasible.
