Vintage Campagnolo Victory/athena Rear Derailleur Bush Ring Insert
I saved my old Campy Derailleur for 25 years, but found this piece had broken. Ordered a NOS from ebay and after a few rides, the "new" part was also broken. The bike was never crashed or dropped. Now I know why Campy abandoned this design.
Bottom line, is it worth trying another at $25 per attempt, or time to just bite the bullet and get something new. For a vintage Paramount, (mostly) all old Campy.

That I believe is rarer than a Cobalto gemstone. Someone should try three d printing them

Yea, I'd hate to trash the perfectly good derailleur for lack of this cheap, POS part. I might try to make something.

I’ve got an early Athena with one of these to use on a project. Do you recall what position you had it in, or maybe whether you had large cogs or a racers corncob? I’ve always wondered if having a small corncob, keeping it in the lower tilt, might put less stress on these little guys. Problem is I’d want it in the max position for a 28 or 30 cog!

I've used JB Weld to fix one. I filed the notches on another. Used a ball bearing to keep two others in place. They all work great. Maybe show us pics of the broken ones.
