Mystery (to me) Bike!
This curiosity has found its way to me. Headbadge (if there is one) is covered by a sticker (afraid to remove it and possibly damage the paint). Any ideas?

Wow, that is a unique bike. I'm a little mixed whether it was a specialty performance bike, or simply a unique kid's bike. Or perhaps a compact city bike.
Post a photo of the headtube badge that currently is on it.
Is that a Generator Tab mount? That may push it towards being a compact city bike.

Pretty sure this is a one off home built silly bike built from the parts of a couple different bikes. Note the fender and light tabs on the rear triangle and mid welded long stem which wouldn't be there if it was a production or hand built custom bike..

The rear dropouts appear to be horizontal, parallel to the ground, and purpose made.
The bike has front and rear reflectors, and a well fitting chain guard, features often left off by home mechanics.
The cotter type cranks appear to be bent for extra clearance. Is that common?
I can't tell, but I think it may have a straight fork, which is more common for a trick bike.
And, of course, it has a kickstand that appears to be fitted to that bike (another indication along with the generator mount that it was designed as a city bike rather than some sports or clown bike).
I can't tell if it is fixed gear or coaster brake.

Take a few photos of the headtube badge.
I would not just assume that was a sticker applied over the real badge.
Don't remove it until you are sure it is not original.

It's a coaster but I doubt the brake works effectively I would classify it as no brake bike.

Hmmm... I'm wondering if you could feel a second headbadge. So try to discern if there are any lines delineating an original badge under the VW badge.

As others have said, possibly heat. Possibly a chemical adhesive remover.
I put a police sticker, as well as college registration tag on my Colnago many years ago.
I can't find a Columbus tubing tag, and I've been wondering if it is just hidden under the police sticker (or the college one). So, I'll be curious what you find. Of course I'm still debating repainting.
