"Flattest" Drop Bar/Shallowest and Widest Drop?
I've got a drop bar setup now but it's not working for me and I want to switch back to flat bar. I'm not able to undertake the cost or hassle of swapping the drivetrain as well, so for now I want to try a bar that is as close as possible to flat bars, but will accommodate brifters. Does anyone have recommendations?
Thanks for your time.

Soma Handlebar Gullwing
The Gullwing has a 30mm rise, 25° backsweep, and a 7° drop at the grips that Soma says puts the rider into a “semi-aggressive position” and places wrists in better angle to operate the levers. The position of the hoods provides a secondary hand position, which apparently feels similar to a 38cm wide road bar, and the grip section has a 22.2mm diameter for running standard grips or your favourite bar tape.https://bikepacking.com/news/soma-gullwing-bar/

I have 2 bikes set up with Velo-Orange Porteur bars. This one is on sale now: https://velo-orange.com/collections/...r-23-8-dia-blk
I really like the set up with brifters. It allows for very easy hand movement and access to braking and shifting from a lot of bar area. The forward sweep is enough that one can still get a relatively low position when needed. They are traditionally mounted with a 15mm drop, but I prefer them inverted for a 15mm rise. I do have to lengthen the stem by 20m, or so, switching from drop bars. This is my Airborne Zeppelin with the Porteur bar.
I just ordered a Ritchey Comp Beacon Bar, on sale here: https://www.excelsports.com/ritchey-...lloy-handlebar
I have been wanting try one for a while, sale made it worthwhile.

Thank you both very much. I'll look into these and pick one to try out!

I had just seen the review by bikepacking.com minutes before I saw your post… I have no actual knowledge of the bars, but thought they looked like what you were wanting.
