The Pathfinder Pro’s (38mm) I had mounted until a week ago were plenty supple. I ran them pretty low, 35psi, and they were excellent. Perhaps a slightly lower inflation pressure will help.

Play with the Silca calculator to find the right starting point. in my experience, even on “skinnier” road tires, their numbers can tolerate a 10-15% reduction in air pressure, safely (especially tubeless). As for how low without affecting speed, I have the 42mm Sawtooths (same carcass) at 32psi (I’ve had them as low as 30, afraid to go any lower because they might burp), and the bike/rider combo for me is around 90kg total. I’ve found that slightly softer (not squishy) is faster, especially over gravel and cobbles because it dampens a lot of the harsh hits that would come straight up into my seat and hands. I’ve also had them up to 38 fro rides on smooth gravel and pavement. Hope this helps!
