Seagull Century anyone?

Anyone doing the Seagull Century in Maryland? I plan on making it. May not finish, but I plan on riding.

If you were okay on the Garrett County Grand Fondo, I'd think that finishing the Seagull should not be a problem, as it's very flat, and temperatures will be much cooler.

I wish I could do it, but I'll just be getting back from a long and (very) strenuous overseas trip at that time. Next year for sure...

I 'only' made 32 miles on the Fondo, but.... . Temps were cool on the Fondo this year. The big factor would be head wind there. Yup, flat as can be.

My wife and I may be doing the metric.....she's a semi-newbie but I think she could finish it ....or come close.....we're planning on an 11-12mph pace....I've done the Seagull many times but missed last year due to a leg injury.... since then I've gained a few pounds back and have been a bit lethargic about the bike.....less than 1000 miles this year.....and I've been laid off since Feb.! So we'll see.....I've got till midnite tonight to sign us up

Yep, my wife and my "newbie" younger (53) brother...it will be their first centuries. First time for the Seagull for me, I've never ridden with so many people before...not sure if I'm going to like it.
