Park PCS-9 Work Stand, any good?
I've looking into getting a work stand for my two steel road bikes and am not looking to spend too much but the PCS-9 appealed to me quite a bit from all the others I've seen. How have other peoples experience been with one of these? Is there any limitations with it?
Thanks

I have used the PCS 9 for a few years and find it to be a good solid and sturdy stand. The only limitation is that it is quite heavy and once assembled it is not too portable due to its weight. It is a great stand for most repairs if you are going to leave it on one spot.

Thanks for the quick reply! I'm not really going to be moving it around to be honest so that shouldn't be a problem. I might just go with it,
Thanks, sam

Good reply, I just bought one a few days ago and am waiting for it in the mail. Luckiyl I'm a big boy and can handle a bit of extra weight. Thanks for the reassurance!

I have one and like it a lot. It folds up like a tripod so it doesn't take up much room in the corner of my garage. It's not exactly portable and it doesn't have a quick acting vice but it's a very serviceable stand for the home mechanic.
