Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I have a point and shoot as well. The pictures aren't as good as off my phone, but the optical zoom is kind of nice. I'm not even sure where it is.

I'd love to play with that camera, though. What's the kit lens it comes with?

The whining anti-bike societal thread just reminded me of an annoying car driver from a year back. They honked and close passed me as I was riding down one of my local county roads. Almost no traffic. That's all par for the course, but the extra annoying thing is they had Wisconsin plates. So, here I was riding around in "my back yard" and this out of state yahoo is getting testy about me being there!?

You need to put an Illinois plate on your car and drive to Milwaukee.

Pass.

As I left work today, I mentioned to a few young nurses that I was going to "am-scray before the ain-ray.

They had no clue. I don't know who is more out of touch, them or me. Any ideas?

Wait, you aren't supposed to fall asleep on the job? Nobody ever told me. I fell asleep on every job I ever had sometimes at my desk, sometime sitting on the can. I even fell asleep during a job interview. Pinky swear!

How fast IS it? Can you see it if you are standing still? Or do you just hear the air move as it goes by?
