Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Sprinting blindfolded

[QUOTE=the sci guy;22730082]oh man when he lays out that pedestrian. Poor guy.

Yep - when you ride a bike in NYC you always need to be ready for someone to just run out into traffic from a blind spot without looking both - or even one way - I've gotten better over the years at anticipating and riding more cautiously but it is pretty wild how many people will just bolt into traffic without a glance or second thought.

Ehhh not that jackass but the paint job is neat. It looks like a fixed gear conversion of an old Nishiki mixte frame. The duster at the rear prevents you from getting you rear wheel covered in dust ; )

I thought this was a bike forum, that is a kids scooting toy from the 80s probably. It is actually kinda neat but I like Garfield and you can change the wheelbase at the front which is a cool feature if you are doing a long touring scoot and need that extra stability or for longer legs.
