Crank Bros. Shoes - any opinions?
Picked up some Crank Bros Stamp 1 pedals to match my recently acquired PanaKat35. Thought the bottle cages matched well too.
Opening the pedal packaging I was concerned to see the Stamps are now a system with Crank Bros shoes! I got FiveTens !!!
Anyways, i took a chance-and took my life into my…. Shoes… and went for a spin. Also a ride to work. Maybe a ride to church. No disaster - cycling or church wise. Work on the other hand….

I've used there pedals in the past. Was generally happy with them. Shoes, never had any of those. I wouldn't want any large noticeable logo, & it would seem they follow suit with most bigger brands by plastering it across the product. IE: Lake CX shoes

My FiveTens always make me feel like a BikePacking-Pro. I mean, if you can be a pro at riding to a campground to sleep between RVs and fix StarBuds Insta Coffee in the morning.....
To conclude, I'll probably give the STAMPS shoes a try. They look pretty typical of flat-pedal shoes. I'd stick with 5-10s if they were still independent. I got nothing against adidas, but Crank Bros stuff has always served me well.

I actually have a pair of the Stamp Lace and they are excellent . Nice looking and quite comfortable while riding. They aren't great just standing around all day but I have foot issues so standing for 8-10 hours is painful no matter what shoe. I haven't done a ton of rides on them but just did a longer ride today and my feet were super comfortable.
As Paul Barnard said they aren't light shoes but they aren't super heavy and honestly they haven't been an issue while riding. They feel sturdy but not overbuilt or weighty.
My biggest issue would be width but I have wide feet and went a size up which gives a bit of extra toe box space that I really didn't need but aren't bad on that front.
They are quite nice paired with some Stamp 7s but any of the Stamp pedals would be good.

I have a pair of these and Five Ten Freerider Pros. These are heavier and less-breathable, but seem to offer more protection than the Freeriders. Love the shoelace cover that hides the laces - all MTB shoes should copy that feature - much safer especially if laces are on the longer side.
