Orbea MX 30 for my first bike. Thoughts?

I been looking at purchasing an Orbea MX 30 as my first mtb bike. It’s 799$ my price range is 800 and below. Any other bikes comparable or a better bang for my buck

800 even though this sounds snobish but it is true is not a big budget. at that price range look for the best shock and drivetrain

any recommendations? I'm not a pro just want to start riding some trails for fun. I think 800 is plenty to get what I need.

Riding a bike with cheap parts takes the fun away. Especially when the suspension is cheap.

Orbea is a good company but that is not a good bike spec wise
Weak fork and drive train
You want to look for the following
Recon Silver or above for a front shock
10 speed cassette in rear
This will be the minimum
800 is not a small amount and I think you can do better for that money and if you add to the budget you open possibilities
The used market has some value but you have to know what you are looking at and it has to be in good condition
There are NOS or new old stock with some pretty sweet deals if you can find the right size
Make sure no matter what you are buying on size first and everything else follows
I don’t care what bike you buy if it does not fit it is a waste of money.
Good luck
